1) Double the end of the line and pass the loop through the hook eye.

2) Double the loop back, then make an overhand knot around the standing line, leaving a loop large enough for the hook, swivel or lure to pass back through.

3) Put the entire hook through the loop as shown.

4) Lubricate with saliva and pull on the standing line to draw the knot tight.

 

 

Always remember to test all knots before fishing
