How to tie the Clinch knot

1) Pass the line through the hook eye. Take several turns around the main line and pass the end back between the hook eye and the first turn. Some anglers loop the main line through the eye of the hook or swivel twice for added strength.

Use 5 turns if your line is under 15kg (30lb), 3-4 turns would be sufficient if the line is over 15kg (30lb).

2) Pass the tag end back through the large loop.

3) Lubricate with saliva and pull firmly with steady pressure. Clinch knot 3

Always remember to test all knots before fishing
