How to tie the Leader loop

1) Tie a loose overhand knot about 6 inches (15 cm) from the end of the line. Pass the end of the line through the centre of the overhand knot. Leader loop 1

2) The end of the line is then brought around the overhand knot and passed through the two openings of the knot. The loop can be adjusted for size and pulled tight.

Leader loop 2
3) The finished Leader loop knot after the tag end has been trimmed. This knot is best tied in heavy mono, upwards of 80 lb. Leader loop 3

Always remember to test all knots before fishing

Good Fishing!
